We often talk about hops, but less about malt. This batch contains some of our favourite malts by Simpsons Malt, including their classic biscuity Brown Malt, and Double Roasted Crystal with its dark fruit and plum notes. We also included plenty of Golden Naked Oats, to build up a creamy body, with subtle nutty flavours. This was then all topped off with a dry hop of Chinook, adding notes of resin, pine and grapefruit.

What is an India Stout?
We love both dark beers and hops, so it didn’t take long for us to combine them. Our India Stout is a proper stout: a creamy black beer with flavours of toasted grain, coffee and dark chocolate. We then build up the hop character too, with a light dry hop creating a more complex flavour profile.
